I recently looked at what was taking up so much of the space on my Note 5. I thought was photos and 4K videos. To my surprise apps like Facebook have consumed a lot of memory.
Wonderful phone though.

64gb, microSD and larger battery in the Note 6 and I will buy that and keep it for a couple years.

Apparently Samsung realized that they made a mistake in not selling the phone in the EU and will sell the Note 6 there.

A major update on a Galaxy Note is very underwhelming. There is little in terms of UI changes and the introduction of a setting here and there. Almost feels like you haven't upgraded at all.

Even for stock android the changes in us were minimal.

You get the functions like doze and app permissions and Google now on tap but that's about it. Question is why is it taking Samsung so long to update if there are not a lot of changes ?

A lot of changes were not expected but yes the question of why it takes so long to update does come up. Also why shouldn't a phone like the Note 3 easily get Android 6.0.1?

I am not a fan of the white backgrounds that come with this new update especially being that the Note 5 has an AMOLED screen which uses more battery for whites. As soon as I get the update I will switch to a dark theme. It seems counter-intuitive that Samsung would use a white theme like this.

Calvin, what kind of battery life are you getting with this new update?
