You do realize you can just use the rear camera. plus, eye tracking is for photos only (i think) not for videos.
the point is, you don't need to look at yourself in the front cam if you know the eye tracking of the rear cam will focus on your face no matter where you are in the frame and how far away you hold the camera.

I believe the technology has yet to mature thats why Sony did not fully integrate it into upcoming phones, same goes to folding display. Sony also developed it since around 2010-2012

Look at the year. I believe if they implemented these two half - assed features the company might suffer even more losses , looking at the flimsy display of folding mobiles as well as less sensitivity of in display fingerprint reader and the bugs it created. Same goes to retina / face unlock features of the iPhone. (#hackedmuch)
