will be very, very sad if sony only releases the phone in south east asia, HK/taiwan.
I like the upgraded DAC. Probably wouldn't use the walkman app much though since I tend to stream my music usually.
5/15 launch means 5/1 announcement?

I like the idea of an upgraded DAC too. I stream but download my music in Hi-Res onto the device to listen offline.
The camera looks like its receiving a decent upgrade this time around. What about the price £££££

strange both the regular NCC filing and the XQ-FS72 mobile list filing are both now gone from the NCC website.
But it is still on the drop down menu for models. Selecting and pressing search, yields no results tho.

what model is PY7-50337X?
if that is the VII and it's at FCC, that could be a good sign that it will eventually get sold here in the states. of course, without any headphone bundles probably.

Seems strange that it could get sold in the US but not in Europe, where they would probably sell more.

I agree. if it's getting tested at the FCC, it's probably getting tested at the equivalent in the UK/EU. We just don't know how to find it or it's not published like with other agencies.
It would be nonsensical to sell it in the US and not in europe considering sony hasn't been offered on an US carrier in a very long time.

More extracted info from FCC ~
https://sumahodigest.com/?p=37291
First of all, the device measures 162 x 74.5 x 8.5mm , which is slightly wider and thicker than the Xperia 1 VI, which measures 162 x 74 x 8.2mm.
And using the same battery.
