I bought from Voda because they were the first to bring it. It was rumored that the plain units would be available three weeks later so I could not wait. The regular units arrived after three DAYS and I was more pissed off than anyone can imagine!!!

Its always best to wait, you get a better and more stable phone for a cheaper price. Ive been waiting for the t68i successor for ages now so a few more weeks makes no difference. This message was posted from a T68i

my contract was up for renewal so i took advantage of it... 8 phones later (maybe 9) i got this, and i really like it, except for the vodaness of it, but as i was away from the place i got it (i got it in windsor, i live in birmingham) i was a day late to take it back and so was stuck with it. I wanted to get it on O2. oh well, just gotta debadge it now

Im not sure if this has been mentioned, the R1L upgraded T610 asks you to "start now?" immidieatly after downloading a java application. Also, the java logo is different.

the logo was pretty badly optimised for the t610 display so i guess it would make sense!

Hi all,

did anyone with new firmware try JAVA programs like ICQ or Jabber or any other IM? Will it work finally, or we have to wait to another firmware with java sockets.
Thanks

Ladis

I have a T-Mobile branded SE T610 with EU2_RA081 firmware.(English, German, French). I'm going to change to Norwegian language at my local Service Centre. If I just hand the phone in to them without telling them it's branded (they probably don't know what branding is, because they are not sold in Norway), and they flash it with the EU4_R1L013 firmware (scandinavian language), will I have normal SE-icons in the main menu then?
Anyone who have tried? With either T-Mobile or Vodafone (voda and T-mob are branded the same way?)

It seems, no one try R1L and Java Instant Messaging?

is there anyway I can flash to the new software myself or must I take it to a service center? if the later is the answer, does anyone know if the R1L firmware is available in Hong Kong service centers yet?

Thanks.
