Used my P800 without a flip because it was pig ugly. First thing I did with the P900 was remove the flip.
I started to regret it after I fell over and smashed my screen - now I have it on all the time, and I have to say I actually prefer it like that!

I use it without the flip, to me, with the flip, its a phone-cum-pda, and without, its a pda-cum-phone. Sounds daft, but i know what i mean anyway

I removed the flip when I had P800, it looked much better without it, P900 is the opposite, definitely looks better with the flip attached

I had the flip off of my P900 for awhile because I wanted to try out a Vaja case. I didn't like it very much, so I put the flip back on. Now I have a nice case sitting around the house.

quite right... without filp it's PDA come phone, and with flip Phone com PDA... so now it depends on your use... Need phone much or PDA? by the way i like it with FLIP on.

With Tracker4, Wav tones can be assigned with clicking the flip open/close button!

I'm neither a flip ON or OFF guy. I'm so indecisive about which I like better I usually change it every month or so. But that's me with most things :¬P
Currently, I'm sans-flip, thinking of moving back.

I'm flipped (p900), but I've modified it by drilling a tiny hole through the flip "sensor" lump on the top right of the flip, so the phone doesn't sense that the flip is up.
Now I can use the flip's keys but keep the phone in full screen mode. Should be ideal for games. I've modified a tracker skin to be usable with the flip up, so i can see smses, phone status, agenda, lock status etc - tracker doesn't permit a flip up mode.
Tracker is great as your general desktop once configured like this - convenience of flip for calling etc, but with the ability to set up a speed dial screen etc on tracker.
