Great! Thanks! Recently I used Opera and other applets using gprs only initially started from PC. Your way to use Opera from phone is so interesting for me.

i seriously wish you could start the app. straight from the phone - i end up using the nice multitasking feature on v600i, but it's pissin annoying when you walk out of bt area and then go back in, and it doesn't work! you have to go to pc and start it again - is there any winvnc style software for an se phone??? - so you can see what happens on computer when moving mouse?!?!?! - would make it almost perfect! - hard 2 use but perfect! - they should have use bt class 1 (100m) in phones :@ damn em! - den i wudnt have a problem!

You can get RemoteControl (From blueshareware.com) that'd work as VNC as you say...

(although it's awfully slow the screen rendering on the cellphone...)

Starting java applets on your phone using your pc is the only way to let the applets use your broadband connection.
HID works fine when you have recent bluetooth drivers like Widcomm 5.x and most Toshiba drivers (delivered with Cellink dongles).
The problem with older drivers is that they initially don't respond to HID commands via bluetooth, you have to make a HID connection to your phone from your pc first.
When this works fine you can use my 3 little files to define wich applet you want to start from your phone.
My goal was to start applets using the broadband connection, else there's no need to start applets this way
I'm working on a special HID to be able to start more then 2 applets from my phone, but I don't know if this is going to work.

You are worthy of monument!
Let me add one mention to your last post. I successfully use BlueSoleil as Bluetooth software for subject purposes.

I was doing this on two of my computers, with same results: disconnecting when I try to browse a site.

I am using a k750i with rebranded software to w800i (R1N035). I have instaled JDK6 and SE j2me_sdk_2_2_3. I connect the phone to computer, start the device explorer, phone is recognised in connection proxy as W800 (on COM14).

I start the miniopera browser (hacked 1.21) from device explorer. In | menu > tools > help > introduction | there is a phone setup link Quote:push the joystick or center navigation key to test your network connection nowand I have the answer Quote:you have a working network connectionBut when I try to introduce any link the Connection Proxy is disconnecting and the browser is giving me an error of no network available. I think I may have found the solution to the flakiness of this method!

I'm typing this from my phone... the key is to open the device explorer and connect to your mobile, but before you remotely open opera mini, go into network connections (control panel) and refresh your internet connection. Not sure why this works, but it seems to!

Let me know if this works for you
