Seems alot of guys 'n gals having problem with camerashutter sound.
Would an upgade of firmware do the trick?
What are pro's & con's doing a fw upgrade?
Will I blow the guarantee doing one? Risk loosing features? Risk ending up with a useless piece of hitech?

I used Davinci Team. The process went smooth and the phone works great - no camera sound! I'm sure the warranty is voided now, but I took that into my consideration when unbranding and deleting the camera sound. Of course it's a risk... but I have calculated it against my needs and come to the conclusion that it's worth it!
Also I figure this: If something goes wrong with the phone during the warranty time, there's a 50/50 chance they don't check/care/notice that the phone was updated with firmware that deleted the camera sound! If they do... then it's in my calculation of the risk and I stand by it!

@all - just catching up with this thread.
Does the post above mean you can unlock the phone yourself ?
Thanks in advance.

If you want to have a jar file on your phone that u can send to other phones or pc, you'll have to downlaod another copy of the file to your phone via a file manger software to the other folder. This way you'll have a sendable jar file.

Hello all, Im having a few problems with my K700i. First off its a Vodafone.
1) some names in my address book show a different number from the one it calls, so if I use it to check numbers to pass onto someone else im giving them the wrong number.
2) I can't use real tone mp3s for my ring tones.
Please help
