Its a shame that the online tariffs are so much better value than the instore ones, otherwise I would quite easily just "cancel" my contract and get a PAC code, go into the o2 shop and sign up a new contract. I am kicking myself for getting my girlfriend signed up instore for a D500, I should have checked on the o2 shop too. Dont you find it ironic that they are currently doing the "we value our current customers" ads when they arent really doing that much for the users that want the K750 (online at least).
I havent ever had the need to call customer services except for Saturday but the attitude is a bit 'blazé'. Could have just been a Saturday though...
still not sure on whether to wait for the W800, but its my birthday at the start of June so its always an excuse to upgrade the phone

It's pretty harsh really, what 02 online are doing - saving the current stock of k750's for new customers and not satisfying existing upgraders! Grrrr!

How do Online tariffs compare to High Street ones? I'm currently on Online 200 - 200mins anytime and 500 txt for £30

It maybe harsh, but they are a business and want to get as many new subscribers as possible. They've already got upgraders custom so you can't blame them for using a new popular phone such as the K750 as a way of tempting them to sign-up.
Its not fair though!!

Well, in store its 200 mins free and 50, but doubled for 1st 6 months. This is 30 pounds. Sucks really as i only text!

My frustration today in trying to bag myself a k750i has led to my first post on here... so summing up todays research:
O2 online will do it for free on the o2 online 200 tariff (website has been updated and lost the £50 charge). However this may take time to deliver and you CANNOT pick it up in store. You also have the hassle of 'online' customer services etc, basically o2 stores will take no responsibility for online customers.. This is a BIG disadvantage for me considering the shambles that was the k700i's launch on o2 last year.
Orange give you their online tariff of 500 texts (1000 if you're a student like me) and 200 minutes and a free k750 for £30 a month, IN STORE. They will also give you customer sevice in store and offer their excellent 24hr phone insurance at £5 a month BUT they definately won't have stock until before Wednesday at the very earliest and I honestly don't think they'll get them before the beginning of June....
I'm swaying towards orange but I'm such an impatient early adopter it hurts to know there are k750i's across the street in o2 Camden Town!!!! Let me have one on online 200 o2!!!!

o2 online customers can definitely upgrade in store, so if they arent't going to give it to you over the phone, bring yourself with a proof of signature to the shop and as long as you've passed the 11th month stage you can be upgraded and you still keep the same online tariff as you had before. I also am not a big fan of o2 treating online customers differently from ordinary in store customers and i work for o2. but still at least we are giving it to our customers on o2 200 + as a free upgrade and they get the double mins double texts again for 6 months. So o2 stores = better phone prices and better deals for mins but o2 online gives a mountain of texts more. If only o2 shops could have the texts as well to choose from though..... some day..... (BTW i get my k750i as soon as it arrives in Northern Ireland. I can't believe it takes so long to transport it across, i coulda swam over and got 1 by now!)
