> K750i - Standby Crash
Bookmark topic
Steve K750i,
Make sure you report the fault to the network you are on as soon as possible. especially if there is a trail period. Then state you want to see what the technical team come back with to fix it etc. at least you can argue that da mobile does not work.
Some of the networks will put you eval/trail peroid on hold while the problem is being resolved by there technical department as you cannot trail to phone if it does not work.

O2-UK said yesterday to phone end of next week (23rd June) and ask for a replacement phone with new firmware. Problems are known about and Networks are trying to keep users happy.
I didnt manage to update from SE Global Site - anyone managed this yet?
Now when I try the SE update doesnt recognise phone. Phone working OK though so I will wait for the O2 replacement.

The update would not install on my k750i - Installed all software on my PC - all ok, got to the point where it asked you to take out USB cable and turn off phone for 20 seconds >> Hold down c button then reconnect USB cable >> update is supposed to start withing 15 seconds, my phone just starts up again requesting for my sim pin - tried it without sim in and it asked for a sim. Anyone else with same problem or and I doing somthing silly. Spoke to SE and they say its because I got update from the Global section. Hmmm....help?

when I get tot the bit "and turn off phone for 20 seconds >> Hold down c button then reconnect USB cable >> update is supposed to start withing 15 seconds", my phone restarts but nothing else happens?
Should I be holding the C button just while I connect the cable, or until the phone restarts or until the update starts?
I have tried it with my firewall off too, just incase.
I have uninstalled my USB drivers for the K750i and reinstalled them agin but still nothing.
any ideas?
thanks
