I am very disappointed in a few things:
- there no sms signal choice in profiles
- you can't lock a phone that no one can see your sms, pics, etc.
- alarm singal is very loud - no option to reduce sound volume except to make mp3 little less louder than average, but still, radio is very loud
- a back cover plastic is very squeaky
Anyone know if Davinci firmware resolve any of these things?
Thanx

Quicktime, I believe that plays 3gp files
Hi everybody,
Use Quicktime v6.5 or later for playing 3GPP or MP4 movies.
Hope this help.

No sms signal choice - Is it that much effort just to change it in the sounds and alerts settings?
Alarm signal very loud - Did you try the volume buttons? Its worked for me
and my back cover is fine

those camera shortcuts have come in handy, especially for toggling macro mode.

I started a thread then realised I should have put it here!
So here it is:
You can view word and excel documents on the K750!!!
Simply save the document "as a webpage" (html) then send to the phone. This is saved in "saved web pages" on the K750, and is viewed by the built in browser.
Excel documents must be single sheet only before saving as html, otherwise it complains it "cannot view frames".
If there are pictures in the document, they will be dropped, but all the html content comes across fine (tables, cell colours etc)

Oh yeah, the phone status. I forgot about that, I remember my t68 did that, I'll add that in the heading thread, thanks. Btw, you just press the vol button, no nered to press down, at least not on mine. Also other useful info it tells you is the date, your mobile nubmer (if you've filled it in), and the free memory.

i have also learnt that any .txt file too can be viewed on the k750..
Just send ANY .txt file to the phone.. save it to the 'other' folder.. and then view it.. it gets opened as a webpage.. perfectly..
I have sent a massive 40 Mb text file to the phone and it works a charm.. i guess a book reader isn't so necessary...

yeah, but you can't bookmark a particular page. With bookreader you can go to any page or any bookmark with a few keystrokes. With a text file you need to hold the scroll down for ages to find your place.
