i wanted a picture from my friends phone the other day and he didn't have bluetooth so i sent it as a pic message from his phone to mine. it would fail halfway through, i tried it 2 or 3 times but still no luck. now it seems like every day i get the pic message from my friends number but with an empty message area, only the title works.

is this because i never set up certain settings regarding picture messages?

i also changed the validity period from network maximum to 1 hour for picture messages but i got another half message this morning. any ideas?

There is a (rather specific) Bluetooth bug whereby the much-praised HBH-300 headset does not work properly with the K750i.

Transmission of speech to a caller via the headset's microphone is extremely quiet and prone to breaking up, even when the phone has a full signal.

I have tested this after many resets, battery charges, repairings etc. Mine is not an isolated case either, as there are at least two other instances of exactly the same problem being reported on the Accesories board.

However, I do not consider this an accesory bug, as the headset works perfectly with my K700 and two other Nokia handsets. Rather, this seems to be a problem with Bluetooth implementation in the current firmware of the K750i. The firmware on the headset is up to date.

I know there are bound to be glitches with early firmware, but should SE be listing the HBH-300 as a K750i-compatible accessory when it is almost rendered useless by this problem?

I would ask any owners of the HBH-300 and K750i to test this by calling their own mobile number, leaving themselves a voice message via the HBH-300, and then listening to that message. If this is a widespread problem, as I believe, then the message will be barely audible, if at all.

@xo4ox : if you email support again , could you ask if they can set the bluetooth like it was in the t-series ( headset wise offcourse) ?
everything after the k700 keeps the bluetooth connected which drains the battery like hell (flat in a few hours )
and i know im not the only one thats annoyed by this feature

thanks in advance

I have emailed SE regarding the bluetooth issues, the K750 has problems with my headset and carkit. I also have to reboot the phone to get it to 'see' other devices.

It's my 3rd email to SE, but I'll let you know the result!

WHEN will the new firmware be released!! Great phone, but starting to get annoying!

Huh buddy. The phone has'nt been released yet in all the intended countries and you already want a firm-ware upgrade ? ? ? Why did you bought it then in the first place if you don't like it 'as is' ? This message was posted from a Nokia 7650

The bluetooth extremely unstable.

It hangs even when transfering some files to the pc.

Also i have a 512mb card. I have put about 250 mb of songs i.e approx 66 - 68 songs in mp3 format. I made a custom playlist (My Music) and added them all.

Now when i go the media player and initially scroll fast it hangs. But if i wait and scroll fast it works. There is no problem when scrolling through the list slowly.

Got mine sim free but I seem to be having same problems as others with bluetooth carkit. I have the HCB-300 and most times the phone either does not connect or connects but then drops out when a call comes in. The phone works ok with Bluespoon AX headset. I had a V3 before and that worked fine with the carkit. Just hope that we get a software update very soon.

care to translate that in english ???

he means, when you put the phone on charger the battery icon has a lightning or volt picture on top of the battery icon. Even when the charging is complete the lightning icon is still on top of the battery icon. I don't think that's a bug, just to show that it's plugged in. To know that it's fully charged, the battery icon will stop moving.
