Announcements:
1. Great skins available at
www.pdanet.ch2. A network tool for monitoring IPs and addresses now out. Appropriately named Ping, it does just what it says

Works fine too. Visit My-Symbian.
Of course, we all know by now that the 9300i is out; don't we?

Are there still any Communicator users (beside yours truly) left on Esato?
Its a little over 9 months since I got my 9500 now, and its yet to develop any issues except when one of the sidebar buttons broke off late last year. I solved that problem with SuperGlue!

My 9500 is still going strong, serving as my primary access to the internet (my laptop is backup!)

@fatreg: The ONLY problem I have with my 9500 is that its the only phone I have ever had and not wanted ANY OTHER phone ever since.
Lots of new phones have been released since I got the 9500, but no matter the level of excitement those toys generate, it does not get to me.
It baffles me (because I am a phone freak, having used over 30 in 3 years!), but I have not wanted another phone since the 9500.
I am curious: what phone release will break this spell?

Im getting a W900 in the next couple of days, but i dont think it will replace my 9500

i run my W900i alongside my 9500.
i dont use my 9500 as much as i should! i send a hell of a lot of texts and dont find the qwerty to be a quick as T9.
love the wifi on it though
cant wait for the 9300i.

@fatreg: That bit about the QWERTY keys not being as fast as T9 is odd. Your commie must have a problem. On mine, I churn out SMS, email, fax and documents by the truckload and much faster than T9 could ever fantasize about. As a matter of fact, that QWERTY keyboard is probably one reason I will find it torturous to use a regular phone in replacement of the 9500.

i think its more to do with that fact that im not totally used to the qwerty on the 9500,
can belt out smss on my jasjar in seconds way quicker than i can use T9, just cant get that kinda speed on my 9500. maybe i should just use it more!
i dream of a 3g communicator! now that will be the mutts nuts!

And for those of you who love the N9500 for its WIFI, but use another phone because T9 is faster than QWERTY:
Go for the new N9300i!
It has both WIFI and T9
