Is anyone else having trouble checking the status of their online order on the website??
I received an email saying i can do it by going into "view my bill" ... and into "my order" .... but it doesn't exist!

@ andy-rew. yeah can't check mine, emailed customer services about it but there no good at solving it.
@everyone. just got this email from O2.
Further, I see that you have placed your order of Sony Ericsson K750i
handset on 16 June 2005. Your handset is currently out of stock.
Please note that Sony Ericsson are currently working on a fix for this
and as long as it passes O2s Testing we should receive stock in week
commencing 04 July 2005. Once this stock is available there could be a
possible delay of a further 7-10 days for delivery of the handset to the
customer.
Better not be any longer than that as my current contract is up on the 15th July. Can't be phone less.

@Andy-Rew
I had and still have the same, guessing its a bug in the o2 site, possibly that through not having an existing o2 number you cannot enter view my bill (note the mobile number : null in the main display area of the page) and hence cannot get to the order viewing.

On the website it now says up to 14 days... making it the 5th of july.
... but they're obviously lying about that too, if in their emails they're saying it could be up to the 14th july.

Basically O2 dont know what they are doing about the phone.
Half the staff have not been informed it is not in stock and others have been informed that there is a problem but they have some in stock and others know that it is out of stock and meant to be here on the 4th july!!
But in all no one really knows the truth.
They need to put on the website "out of stock" and then email everyone who is waiting for an upgrade or wating for a new contract telling them the status of the phone and what the hell is going on.

Well said. Totally agree with you there. It isn't even as if this has been over a short period of time. O2 have had ages to get their ass in gear and put "Out of stock" on their website. Instead what do they do but add a free Btooth headset. I emailed and complained bout the wait and how it was only right they sent me one. lol Worked a treat. They said they would send me it after I receive my phone.
Though judging how long the phone is taking I should have a free headset for a Xmas present

Update:
DHL says parcel picked up from o2.
What worries me (as ive said before) is if they are stating july 4th, will this be a bad handset thats slipped out ? (or the wrong handset entirely, *shudder*, why did I just say that, oh dear)

@ Ornithophobe
i hope to dear god that you havnt been sent the wrong handset for your sake and i sure hope you do not have a duff one because that will jus be total torture, being able to touch and feel the phone but not be able to use it!
If you do get a decent handset and it seems to b good then there may be a glimmer of hope for the rest of us!!!

You see, they can't just say 'out of stock' because they clearly have thie handsets ! The problem is the handsets they have are faulty. They should say 'out of stock of working handsets' cum again later ;-)
