Does it have a lamp too, or is it flash only? Lamp can be good to use as flashlight

Yep, it has a triple LED flashlight in video mode which i always use as a torch, it's quite strong, it reaches around 2-3 meters

Why is there a need for a torch option in the menu? Isn't that pointless because we can use the torch without having to press and buttons to navigate to an app for it, just open lens cover with one finger then we have a torch instantly!
Besides, the Triple LED light is under the lens cover so to use it as a torch (even when turning it on with a "Torch app" in the K750i) we would need to slide the lens cover open to let the torch light up the room (unlike in the K750i where the LED light isn't under the lens cover but on the side on the phone instead)
This is why SE didn't put a "torch app" in the C901: because you need to slide camera lens open to reveal the LED light, what's the difference between doing that by activating app then opening lens cover to reveal camera and simply opening lens cover in standby mode? This is why I see a torch option in the menu would be pointless, it sounds good but when you think about it there's no need for it. The most we need to do to activate torch is to slide lens cover over and switch to video mode (with only 1 click of a button if camera isn't already in video mode)

@mriley
So the lamp goes on automaticly when you open the lens cover? Dont you need to activate it in the photo app first?

The lamp goes on automatically when lens cover is opened IF:
Camera starts in video mode (it does this if you exited the camera in video mode the last time you used it)
The lamp (LED light) was activated the last time you used the video mode (i always keep light on for video so when i start camera in video mode the phone can act as a torch)
What do you mean by the photo app? I guess you mean camera menu, answer is no because the phone keeps the settings used when you last used camera or video
