Thanks! If only there are more colours to choose... different colours for phone with differnet colours for that photo lens will be amazing... wishful thinking tho, i know...

I wonder why Sony chose purple. Though it isn't bright-looking, teen eye candy unlike the Lumias, which is good since it kinda gives adds a sophisticated feel to the OmniBalance design.

Everyone who thinks they can fit the RX100's sensor or optical zoom into a phone should really think it through. There is no way that can ever fit into a phone without at least a 2cm bump.

Honami has the HX50V sensor, without optical zoom. Performance will be slightly lower than the HX50V in the same condition due to lack of size for space for optics. Don't expect any miracles. Photos will look good but don't expect anything near the RX100.

I do not know... And even if For Sony it's a classic colour I do not like it too much:P
Instead I really prefer the red version of some of their product! They are awesome:3
For example!

They are classy and good looking! I'm really looking forward to a Red Honami!:)

Actually lens size would barely matter as long as the resolving power of optics is still within range of the sensor's resolution. In fact Honami may or may not have the advantage over the HX50v in terms of corner sharpness due to its fixed lens (a.k.a. prime) nature. If the G lens on Honami was built with top quality glass components to compensate the reduced resolving power of a scaled down optics then I don't think it will be any worse than the Cybershot.

Who cares? Overall, Sony is doing much better outside it.

True, but it's still a phone and Sony will not be going super-high-quality on the lens because they still have to be able to make a profit too. It'll be good but nothing revolutionary. People expecting huge sensors or optical zoom in a bumpless thin phone need to know that it's just not possible.

Nobody here mentioned Honami will have RX100 sensor or optical zoom. I think you misread. We are talking about external lens accessories here and not the Honami sensor

That would still be fairly impressive though since Nokia spent a couple of millions in advertising with their "Rolling Thunder" approach while Sony has technically not even gone after the US market yet
