Look what I noticed on this site

I wonder what REAL FLASH means?
The Xperia Z in comparison states mobile light (LED) for the built in flash

Who cares? Overall, Sony is doing much better outside it.

I think Sony cares very much about a comeback in the US. Would be foolish not to care.

Full-size photo taken with Honami: http://www.imgus.net/bilder/6a7f722126dbda9790af5df2e6fb4914.JPG

I am very, very impressed. Excellent detail level. Resized to 5MP the results are excellent and at the same level as the Nokia 1020. Better than I expected.

Doesn't the Snapdragon 800 support 1080p video recording with 60 fps not 30 fps?

Since LG G2 with the same SoC does 1080p@60 fps, than Honami will as well be able to record video in that way. I believe that in worst case scenario we get it through software update if not at launch.

What're the chances the flash on Honami is a plasma flash? Can plasma flashes run continuously like an LED for flashlight functions? Or are they more like xenon and need to recharge?

As for the quality of that full size shot, yeah it is indeed quite impressive. For comparisons sake here's a shot from the Sony DSC-HX50V with a similar size sensor (1/2.3")

They are of course different types of shots, and the fact that the Honami shot is focused on the display means the rest of the shot is blurred a bit. Still, we can at least make out the HX50V does have a bit less noise in the shot, but then again the Honami firmware may not be final.

If this turns out to be the case, what about the recent leaks for honami which shows a LED flash?

I hope it launches with a xenon flash, though.

@lightspeed maybe the recent leaks which show led flash are of the earlier prototype?
