PM's might be a hard solution, specially for discussion between members... but it can be made as a temporary solution till we find another one...
the best one for me and others is a private thread/section for such things... and we keep this one active also for normal rumors, but more sensitive one will be there in the private... I think we need a moderator opinion on this one also...
it might be a VIP section with multiple topics there even for not mobile ( like other Sony products )...

i dont know about private forum...because so many Sony fans will be visiting this thread without joining to esato for the rumors...we dont want to disappoint them...We will see what other sites are doing with the latest rumor by randomuser before making the decision...

If you want private thread it's not possible AFAIK, but it's possible to have a private section where it can be accessed by specific members ( or members group ), something similar to the moderator section... this section can be called VIP as normally in other forums...
but we have to as a moderator coz we don't know if it's okay with esato rules or not...
In any way, such a section MUST NOT AFFECT other sections in the forums, I mean we still have to maintain this topic and other topics, as it's only meant for sensitive info that will hurt Sony if leaked...
