Moto may be American, but that doesn't mean that anything comes out here first. With the noteable exception of Push-to-Talk. That has been around for years.

Nextel got really popular with that and a lot of contractors are using it.

seems like most businesses I know use Nextel. Good for them I suppose.
I don't understand Boost mobile though. Who is their intended client base?

it has really annoying TV adds with like rappers and old people. I don't get really. Who thought those two would go together?

no Boost isn't local. It is another network with Push to Talk like Nextel.

How soon after the launch of the P910i was the P910a available?

I got my P910a at the end of October. So I think it was like 2 months different, but I'd have to check the official P910i release date somewhere.
As far as I know, I had the first P910a that expansys sold. So I should have gotten it fairly close to the release date.

Anyone out here experiencing problems with Cingular?
I have Cingular service and all my outgoing functions work perfectly fine. I have not been receiving any incoming calls or messages since last night. I live in the Boston area and I guess I am experiencing this problem in a 60 mile radius that I have checked out since last night. I have a K750i and reception is mostly 4 or 5 bars where I live. I tried my K700i and I have the same problem. However if I use a phone that has the 850 MHz frequency (Nokia 3200(b) or T616, everything works fine. Cingular customer service is closed today and I dont even think they will ever fix this problem for me because they would say I am not using a phone that was issued by Cingular.
Just wondering if I am the only one?
