Agreed Ricky..

Just a bunch of photography nuts (not a bad thing) trying to squeak out every bit of information they can from the single sample leak that we have so far. plus there isn't much else to discuss right now

At first glance, the detail is good, color is ok, but overall the picture doesn't make me go "wow". of course, this is very dependent on what was actually photographed and the photographer. a GPS device on a bike isn't exactly colorful. I wish the leaked samples were of something more vivid.. but that's just me. not knocking the quality at all. i think it's a big improvement on previous processing and hopefully it will get even better in the final firmware and continually improved with updates.

I will be royalty miffed if there is going to be a Tablet Z 2 launched at IFA. I got mine on launch day in the UK on the 22nd of May and a new one announced ONLY a few months later BAD FORM SONY.

This is why I held out on the tab Z, as great as a device it is, I was not thrilled by the choice of s4 pro and hoped sony would opt for the S800 but it seems they wanted to release the tablet earlier and not wait for the S800.

I'm still hoping Sony will go for an atom based vaio tablet this winter running win 8.1. 8-10 inches, an 8in would be ideal, would be a nice p series successor.

Vaio department is staying out of the Tablet form factor, you'll have to do with the Vaio Duo series (or just a regular laptop with touchscreen). Sony Mobile is sticking with Qualcomm and Android. (The one Mediatek phone was actually made by another company that ported over Sony's software.)

It was a wise move to let the mobile department handle the tablets. Xperia tablet z was their first good tablet, the ones before with that weird design were crap

Too bad, an 8 inch vaio tablet would rock, or a 10 inch model with a keyboard cover, and with full windows. My pro will have to do for now, if any new versions of android provide a better experience for tables I may reconsider, otherwise I'll wait it out a while longer.
