anyone tried tomtom!

Yes, I use Tom Tom 6 with my bluetooth GPS unit, it runs absolutely fine, no problem. The only thing is the speaker isn't quite as good as the P1i but you can still hear the directions fine when driving at 70mph plus

I have a question though, they still have not updated the custom UK firmware. Is there any news on how to install the latest firmware yet? Should I just use davinci or something? What's the main difference between the world wide and the custom UK firmware?
Also does the latest firmware let you use the flash or video light with the image stabiliser switched on?

has anyone figured out a simple way to make the volume louder for headsets? i've tried all the tips and tricks that i could find and to no avail.

i've tried the swmail mod and haven't been able to remedy this. I love this phone, but my one major complaint is that the headphone volume is too low.

Sound Mod Lite works fine for G900 and the headset volume is really loud.
Download this:
http://www.speedyshare.com/377308497.html

Here you have already patched '1020867a.cre' files from G900 and P1.
Take the G900 file (you can even take the P1 file instead, it will work fine) and paste it to 'C:\Private\10202be9\persists' and then restart your phone.

Perhaps you will have to delete first the original '1020867a.cre' file from 'C:\Private\10202be9\persists' and then paste the patched file.

@ardzuna

thanks for your reply.....the problem i'm running into is that i can't access the protected system files on the c:/ and z:/ folders in the phone. I can see the folders, but they're protected and I can't go into them. I've followed this tutorial (http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=167558&start=0) to the letter. Is there something I'm missing?

It is very easy now to access protected folders with the latest version of CapsSwitch by SWmail:
http://www.agathosyne.de/files_ext/CapsSwitch.zip

Just install it, run it and press 'switch'. When you get the message 'Capabilities are switched OFF', you will have unlimited access to all protected folders.
To lock the protected folders again after you have finished with modding, go back to CapsSwitch again and press 'switch'. When you get the message 'Capabilities are switched ON', these folders will be unaccessible again.

For installing the latest firmware read this topic:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=176580

The flash light still doesn't work with Image stabilizer on and I guess it never will.
