My k850 takes amazing outdoor pics. However, take it inside, and it all falls a part. I think SE have to develop some code that will not only make it flash in low light, but flash in artificial light too. Something called flash-fill that my nikon does all the time, and seems to work perfectly. It half charges the flash to give the pic some natural light, but at the same time, not destroying the effect of the artificial light.

We may be lambasted with our opinions here max but yes, N82 was really an impressive camera phone, but i don't like the way it produces overcooked colors esp the pink turning to red (which is the opposite case for K850 turning reds to pinks ), and there comes some visible smudging and sharpening that number1 points out in all nokia phone's post processing. n82 could've probably win because of it's impressive flash and other extras that complements the technological advancement of it imaging side but the true camera leader in image quality is non other than the i-mobile 902.

Yes the smudging number1 talks about is my major gripe with Nokia cameras. SE seem to find a better compromise than the others between post processing and retaining detail.

The imobile i902 is indeed an awesome camera phone, but a one off not likely to be repeated and also a let down in some of the more traditional phone areas. I also find the SE camera interface better than the imobile. The problem with the imobile is it's so focussed on being a camera instead of a phone that it ends up being not very appealing as a phone, but still not as good as a dedicated digicam. I think the value of the imobile is to put the heat on SE and the like to bring out better camara tech rather than actually creating a genre in it's own right.

And what I like the most is: "I hear people in PHONE shops all the time"

most sales people in phone stores don't have a clue about the technical details - they read the brochure and just regurgitate that. It's very rarely I come across a sales person who actually knows what they are talking about.

To them "cybershot" name has some magical quality about it!

Oh my god some of them are SO stupid it's not true. I went into the CPW and they had a W980 in the G900 space. I asked the annoying 'Can I help you guy' who came up to me first if they actually had a G900, and what followed was 10 mins of him telling me this WAS the G900.
Only when he went to the back and brought out a (surprise surprise) W980 and saw the sticker, did he realise. I was so annoyed with him I asked why he didn't know the phones he was trying to sell. Didn't get much more than a mumble. What an idiot!

you gotta remember guys, 99.9% of the world would have no clue what were yapping about. Most people who go into those phone stores are either first time buyers/b-w nokia owners, or some spoiled brat who's going into secondary education, you can tell these guys what they need and they would simply oblige. We have the gift of sharing knowledge through the internet meaning that we can be smarter buys or look straight past the advertisements. Thats why we find it so funny looking at people talking about stuff the don't know shit about, one guy on a train yesterday, said that he thought that tings on the internet, were doublely expensive than they were in the shops. Although you kick them in the balls and shout "FOOL", you can only laugh to yourself.
