Well we all know PA/Cnet verdict on i1 camera already
" Xperia i1 improves upon the previous Sony smartphone cameras but sadly we believe they still have some way to go before they can match the best in the business. We preferred the images produced by the Galaxy S4 and Iphone 5S slightly more with good saturation and punch while the i1 images were slightly cold and we don't appreciate that"

Uh, hey ramu, I don't know if I missed something but why does the first page info say Honami would now have a 1/2" 20 MP sensor? I thought the 1/2.3" size was the closest to confirmation, so where did that come from? Plus the 32 GB ROM, from 16 GB. I am not doubting you, though, just surprised that the specs got changed.

As I said, OIS is controlled decentering and can cause problems with sharpness of picture, at least on 'cheaper' lenses. When on lenses without stabilization you shouldn't worry about decentering. If it was good at the beginning it shouldn't cause problems in future
Regarding what you said, that is why olmympus has 5 axis sensor based image stabilization

And that's exactly why CNET is the worst reviewer out there, back in the days, they don't need to show tests on how they arrive on their verdict, because people know CNET is trustworthy, but now CNET is a company run by getting paid for to write good reviews with one product and bash the others, so without proper lab test to show, all the words coming from their posts are nothing but BS

That was a mistake,ill correct it. I don't think I changed 32 to 16
I don't think we have any confirmation on 16 GB, 32 is more likely IMO
EDIT: ePrice mentioned 16 GB.

BTW can someone find a full size photo from Lumia 1020 similar to the leaked Honami sample?

For me it's a clear win for Sony!
Well that fact only matters when both cameras have the same MP count, if You resize 41MP to 20MP suddenly the pixel size is much higher than Honami, but as experience shows, pixel size is not really important, look at HTC One and it's 3,14micron pixel, it has one of the worst cameras out there, because it's only 4MP.

Ok you got that point, I cannot deny that!
(Ok, I have to mention that the HTC One's pixel size is only about 1,786 micron, not 3,14 micron, HTC just uses the surface in square micron which is not very commen, that is just their marketing)
Nevertheless my opinion stays the same, Honami will be better. But we will find out soon. Just 22 days to go
