@paul101
that's the first thing
I check whenever I
have strange going
ons with my laptop.
No I'm not offline.
@cyco
just tried that, no
difference. Another
strange thing is that
I could read my e-
mails a few minutes
ago but not
anymore. I'm shut
out, still saying I'm
connected and my
anti virus is still
updating without
any problems.

@arien617
a phone (motorola
v8). I found that
strange as it's never
happened with my
Sony Ericssons.
@paul101
I've been restarting
and shutting down
the computer so
many times I've
given up on that
option. By the way,
now I can read my
e.mails.

Good thinking!
Or there could be something blocking port 80 I guess? Have you tried turning off everything security related like firewalls and antivirus?

Bloody good thinking there thomas93 and Cyco!!!
Disabled my firewall and anti virus and voila it worked. I'm actually using the laptop typing this. Strange thing is I've been using McAfee until this morning when I installed Kaspersky. Never had this problem with McAfee until the switch.
Thanks a million guys.
