up at 7.30am - bit of a lie i for me that.. was just checking guru4u on my p8 in bed and it looked like the tags had moved as it couldnt find my site. come downstairs ready to upload on 1&1 and it hasnt bastid moved after all!
gutted - how long does this take?

When I moved mine there weere two ways of doing it
1. Change nameservers at BHosts to point to 1&1 ns.
2. Move your .co.uk to 1&1 control.
I did no 1. it took 24 hrs to do.
If you are doing no 2, I would imagine it would take longer especially if you want Bargainshitehost to do something.

i just sent bargainhost a form 1&1 gave me asking them to:
Being the domain holder I hereby kindly request the following domain to be released to the tag SCHLUND (Schlund + Partner AG):
guru4u.co.uk
The TAG should be changed as soon as possible. Please note the all caps spelling 'SCHLUND' of the TAG which needs to be entered.
Nominet member Schlund + Partner AG is the technology-partner for domain administration of 1&1 Internet Ltd. and will update the nameservers accordingly.
Any further action on your part won't be necessary.
which by email they have responded to saying they have done this. also 1&1 say they can see they have done this:
As this is a .uk domain name the only thing that is needed to transfer
this over to us is for the curent host to change the ips tag of the
domain name to schlund, I now see that this was done a little earlier
and as sudch we shoudl pick the tag up shortly and the domain name be useable within 24 hours to 48.
so i think it should be ok - it's just that is way over 48hrs now so i am getting concerned as u all no i have no patience whatsoever
