i think the point is, rather than destroying it, you could have made someone at the forums very happy.
Either giving it to someone for free or even selling it for 5 pounds.
I have my T68m and it's a lovely phone that I keep for emergencies or even if I go out to sea.

it was insured only agaisnt accidental damage mate! so i had to give them the damaged phone to get a T610 replacement!
im a poor student anyway, i wouldnt do such thing for fun!
but hey, now, i have a P900 and a T610!

I only ask because I know that most insurance doesn't cover phones damaged by water.

CPW's "go" policy insurance!
its for handset only (under £150) and pay&go phones only!
and it only covers accidental damage! wotever! as long as you take the remaining of the phone back they will give you a replacement!
