And that's where the problem lies with Michael `Wacko' Jacko. For too long the guy has been a joke and figure of fun who was dismissed by many as a genius who'd become a sad, naive, lonely and vulnerable figure but what if that was the image he wanted to create?
We all watched the Martin Bashir documentary as he claimed he'd had next to no cosmetic surgery, when it was as plain as all thenoses that have been on all his faces that he looked drastically different from the young man on the cover of Thriller.
We stared in disbelief as his "children" miraculously appeared and wandered around with everything but a tea cosy on their little heads to prevent anyone from working out who they were and kidnapping them.
Surely if you wanted to kidnap them you'd just grab the kid walking around with a netcurtain on their napper. And after seeing the infamous baby dangling incident you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a suicide bid little blanket as he was fed up being dressed like a chimp.
Everything from the face mask to sitting in the tree, living with monkeys and lamas through to marrying Elvis's daughter and spending millions on tasteless tat convinced many of us Michael was a harmless nut who didn't know what he was doing. What if that was just the impression he wanted us to believe?
Underwhat conditions would it be acceptable for a 40-year-old man to operate a private theme park that would be like a magnet to young children, allowing him to be constantly surrounded by them and even have parents feel comfortable about letting their kids sleep over?
To some he was a little boy who refused to grow up, to others he was just a joke, but to very, very few he seemed like a dangerous and predatory man.
I'd imagine just about everyone reading this has seen or even toldone of the dozen or so jokes about Michael and these latest accusations. In Friday's Record we read how everyone was cracking jokes about him at the VH1 Big Awards.
Since when was it okay to crack jokes about alleged paedophiles?
Perhapsthetime it is okaytocrack these jokes is when it's all too ludicrous to contemplate.
I remember commenting on Michael using his baby as wind chimes at that hotel window Mr Jackson's fans are incredibly loyal. I'm told I was inundated with death threats and hate mail all of which my agent read and binned without me ever having to see it.
Fewer of those fans are backing him now and Minnelli and Taylor, who've been his friends since before they knew were their next husband was coming from, are staying silent.
Michael Jackson is either one of the most sweet and innocent human beings on the planet or one of the most cunning and successful child molesters of all time.
It's now for the US judicial system to decide and let's all hope the joke hasn't been on us all along."
i kinda agree with what this guy is getting at what if MJ has fooled us all?

i dont think hes the worlds greatest mastermind kiddy fiddler.. i just reckon his age, mentally stopped developing at like 13 years old.

As for him being a con artist all along...... it is not impossible, scary thought tho!
Even if he stopped mentally evolving at age 13 (which I doubt, coz once upon a time he had a darned keen sense of business, remember the Beatles rights vendetta??).... fact is that he lives in a world where he can do what he wants when he wants and how he wants it, witout anybody questioning his actions. Without even anybody knowing about them.

on the MJ thing, the guy's been scaring the hell outta me for a while now, but i guess it's highly likely most of us will never find out the real truth of what he's been up to. oh yeah, and vlam's right, MJ hasn't been a good musician for a large amount of time now, all his recent stuff is complete arse.
