@thuggles - It is NOT broadband. It's much worse than dial-up in fact. I used to use dial up and it used to work at a min of 2kb/s even at peak hours, This connection is terrible.

I dont exactly know but one of my friends told me that another guy is using airtel's broadband service. Rs700 per month unlimited i think.

kama,i use bsnl netone and sancharnet...both dialup...the speed is 2kbps.and i think my monthly bill for internet averages around rs550
during the last month i got 3 calls from bsnl asking for my address and said its related to dataone setup.i asked when the service will start and he said that trials r going on...so cant give a specific time.aww....i cant wait anymore....but problem is that exams r also coming up.

and mro said that he uses airtel unlimited and he pays 200rs/month

@dr - Mrao is using airtel unlimited "GPRS" service which is basically dial-up. I was talking about broadband.
