okay...now go to control panel..phones and modems...select modem properties....diagnostics...query modem
you should get a box saying "Commhnicating with modem"....wait for the query to end...and see if you can spot "success" in the query log

1) Hero Honda splendour. Proven and tested in the field and reliable plus cheap and spare parts are available easily.
2) Victor
is cheaper than splendour and rides more smoothly than splendour (less engine vibration).
3) Bajaj Caliber - More power than the previous two and good ride quality. (and you could add speakers that shout Hoodibaba Hoodibaba hoodibaba.. every time you switch on the bike)
Or... you could get an Enfield Thunderbird, get a punk rock hair cut, wear torn jeans, spiked gloves, get a few piercings and tattoos done and become the BADASS guy in your college

When i bought it, it was Rs 44,300 /- now its around around 40k - 42 k that too its the new Victor Glx and not the old model which i bought. The new models are even better ! Better ride, better look, adjustable rear shocks for smooth or bumpy roads etc etc.
I still get a mileage of approx 65km/ltr. At start i got around 73 km/ltr. Tyres are good and i've just changed the rear tyre after 2 years of usage (actually i could've used it longer but i made the mistake of riding the bike a short distance when it was flat
)
5 free services and from then on each service costs approx Rs 350. Spare parts cost the same as any other bike. not much difference.
If your still going to buy a scooterete i would suggest the Honda Activa. Man , can that thing fly !

Yamaha bikes in India suck totally ! Other than the Enticer and the RX135, none of yamaha's bikes took off in sales. Reason ? Expensive, LOOOW mileage, looks suck, and poor service
