4.4 blocks it. Unless the manufacturer gives any app priority. That means File Commander can do more than other managers.
That policy is idiotic though.

It did better in superior auto, but if you downsize the GS5 photos down to the same resolution it might be a little better.
Here is the studio test in full resolution for Z2, Gs5, and 1520

I wonder when will Sony finally catch up with Samsung in terms of camera quality. Photos aren't bad, the difference isn't that clear. But look at video quality. A huge gap, I remember Sony was always bad in terms of video quality, seems like till now they can't provide quality of a true flagship phone, a shame. 1080p on S5 looks better than 4K on Z2 -.-
Don't get me wrong, 4K on Z2 is very good, but still lags behind Samsung.

never agree that samsung being better, they are like LG that apply some kind of super sai like filter like SNES emulator to make things looks sharper and looks like there are less noise. Just not as heavy as LG, LG was beyond bad, I don't even know how anyone can say LG camera are good, unless you shrink the image down to 1/8 of the size. Heavy compression aside, with the new update, Sony has finally dump the sharpening filter that was with Z1 but images are still too compressed, looks like the software just compress then save out whatever the sensor capture and that was it. Z2 photos can be process in photoshop to look like samsung filter, or even with pixler express that came with the Z1. Nokia camera always has some kind of vibrancy boosting to make pictures look richer than the source to me, but without those super sai filter. Can't comment on video, as I don't use video a lot. maybe someone can do a size and bitrate comparison between those phones. I know Sony steady shot software is the best out there but you loose quite a bit of FOV.

The camera of the Xperia Z2 is arguably inferior to the cameras Galaxy S5 and K Zoom, as then this same camera can be better than the cameras of Nokias 1020 and 808
With the word DXO and Sony Fanboys

Considered K zoom was says to be the best android camera ever and using the same sensor as z2, its like going in a big circule. I think not everyone is a fan of Samsung image processing, including myself. And also clear show 20MP is too much for Z2 sensor.
