I came close to realizing a boyhood dream today. One of my fantasies was to be airborne, without the complication of being strapped into the seat of a fighter jet...

So this afternoon i was helping my cuz and her hubby move furniture from the house to the garage. No problem, except that the sofa needed to get out the way it got in, i.e. via the balcony... LOL, we had it balanced on the edge of the balcony railing, securely tied, with Yours Truly as the anchor. Halfway through the process of lowering it, a strong wind happened to be in the neighbourhood. Hehehe, talk about clinging on for dear life! I lowered that puppy so fast whilst bracing myself against the railing, rope slithering through my hands and around my waist a tad faster than i would've liked. Got the sofa down safely, but eish, i came close to being Superman, albeit for a very short flight.

Been a busy Wanqa today, as well as spending lotsa quality time with the mrs.

@ Hobbster,
That's one of Axl's 'better' numbers.
Hard to picture Gn'R without Slash and the boys in there, even though the song's got some distinctive Les Paul guitar riffs normally associated with the 'top-hatted one'. Shot for that, boet.

@ Jojo,
Find some interesting info in those links?

@pop - All of the LINKS that you are posting here (for ME) are ALL very IMPORTANT . . . even though I haven't READ a page of it . . . just yet I will momentarily . . . I am really curious how the speedometer of a Big Bike can be altered/tampered/faked/calibrated etc.

@ J-Man,
You mean the speed of the bike altered (i.e. derestricted to go above 300km/h), not just the speedometer...
