Sources differ on what to expect for the remaining of the year but the last chance to see something big this year would be a September announcement of a second xPeria device and a flagship Walkman.
Although the recent pictures of T700 and G705 suggest that these too could be ready for imminent announcement.

@xell
Eldar did say last year that there would be a total of around 10 G-series devices in the portfolio by mid-2009, however, it is likely a few UIQ G-series devices have been cancelled or postponed, so it will be interesting to see what the last UIQ device is to be and why this particular one was so special they couldn't cancel it.

I really don't get it, excuse me. You mean launch? It's estimated to be available within the next 5-6 weeks.

Sorry my fault, getting totally confused with my announcements and releases. Thats a quick launch anyway.

Because the P1 needs a successor. Because UIQ 3.3 is ready and its just stupid not to use it.
To sum it all up, this is what i was told: hikaru (or whatever people want to call it) is indeed the P1 successor and Paris replacement. It will have UIQ 3.3. It will be presented in September and launched in Q4.
One more thing. My friend saw at least 3 different protos, one of them looks like what has been discussed recently here (full ts + slide keyboard)
As usual with SE, things can change...so take it with a grain of salt
