Airtel charge you 5 rs.per mms sent.Then get the mms setting by typing mms and send it to 646.After this send the mms to your own no.To activate it.So you get registered in mms node.And for that trick i will like mrao whiz to try it and let me know the result.

ok drpratik, tried wat u said that aint workin either. also i did get teh mms settings frm airtel by sendin message to 501 (646 never sent me the settings). but so far i havent been able to send a single mms. is there ne size limit??? even tried a 3kb mms didnt work. apart frm the airtel coverage everytin else bout it is sheet. called CC they say they have so such thing as basic wap for rs99 only MO for Rs600. mms dosent work either. they messed up my bill for last month. i had unlimited sms local for rs99 but they have charged me rs1 for every single local sms and rs2 for national. my sms bill alone was rs500, tried explainin it to the morons at CC but no luck. neways i dont care bout the bill i am keepin this only for 1 more month. i just want my mms and wap to work.

Agree with you sanjcher.Their cc guys are completely useless.with some exceptions.And in case of bills they always have the attitude of the computer is always right.There is limit of 100 kb for mms.After getting your settings switch off your phone for some time then try the mms thing.

@sanj listen dude, i also have an Airtel post paid which i use mo for internet on pc but am going to get rid of it, the cc don't have any tech knowledge and attribute every problem as 'server based', sad really.by the way, Airtel mms is rs 5 and not free here so i use hutch.
