You're mistaken.
CCDs make sense only in bigger sensor sizes. They technically have better dynamic range, but cannot be mass produced cheaply. They are still used in astro cams and medium formats (Leica R system, 'blads, Mamiya/PhaseOnes, et al). The cheap-ass CCDs used in some point and shoots are nowhere close to the real deal.

Do you think that the one in iPhone is going to be a real deal?

Ahh who cares about Crapple iPhone?
The Sony Ericsson X10 has won my heart
The speed when he flicks around, is just amazing

I don't know if he just has unsteady hands, some pictures are just way too blurry

Now go start a new thread if you find next generation iPhone more interesting.

These photo examples are more than great for a phone, aren't they? And that's still a prototype, 2 months before release.

Was wondering that myself. It does look more like an unsteady hand blurr rather than an out of focus blurr. But who knows (beside Rog that is).

Firstly please do not flame me, I am not slapping anyone's kids I am merely discussing a device and how its potential performance may be afected by software mods OK?
That SE timescape or mediascape what ever it is interface seems to scroll far too fast to be of any use if you are searching for a specific contact I hope it can be slowed down in settings? Sure It looks very "pretty" having moving 3D images but that uses processor and battery power so maybe its a feature many will get fed up with once they see how badly it cripples battery life?
Unfortunately this video does not show how quickly this mediascape or timescape interface loads and how it is affected by having lets say 800 contacts on Google, and how the device's speed is affected when switching between its self and the "native" android applications.
I will have a much better idea on android later today as a good friend just got an android device for Xmas!
