Can You tell me what other site can we use? And I mean a real review, not a pack of random shots, that can't be compared with other phones, also full size pics is a damn requirement.

But when you install an official update from Sony, not only you are going to lose the root, but also this particular configuration file will be overwritten with its original version, thus the apps will lose their access to the SD card.

Thanks for the explanation. So after an update when the apps lose their access to SD,what happens? I mean will the app data crash?or will they go back to normal once we again root and install this file?

Also another noob question
Once rooted we can still easily update via PC Companion right?

DPreview is the only other site which provides studio shots, but for some reason they don't do it all that often.. for example they didn't include them in their Z1 vs htc vs Sammy comp

They provide studio shots for every phone they test and you can compare 3 phones at the same time.. its very handy. There isn't much to it really, you put them on a tripod, and you shoot..

Do you think they are manipulating the results ?

DXO have the Z2 as the best mobile phone camera.. do you really believe that ?

For a strange reason all the studio Z2 shots are blurry.
Why? That IS strange.

That is SUPER annoying.
Because some apps have lost their ability co cooperate with SD card written files
what is IDIOTICALLY inconvinient.

I don't use app data on SD card. But I assume it would crash until you redirect it to internal memory.
I mean NO app has the full SD access unless it's the app given priority by Sony (photo editor, FileCommander).

...

For instance if you have Documents on SD, OfficePro will only OPEN them.
To edit them you have to MOVE them to internal memory.

The same with apps like CameraMX which cannot store the edited photo unless you move it to internal.
I would say it's dumb.

Oh guys I have my Z2 from YESTERDAY... I'm in heaven with it...
I transferred all my data from the iPhone 3GS I had in a breeze with the Xperia Transfer app for win7... photos, contact, sms, video, notes, agenda... then I put my 64gb microsd inside, loaded 25gbs of music and some telefilm... I downloaded 3gb of apps on the Z2 and till now it all works fine
I'm amazed by the screen, it is really perfect and it is higly readable even in the sun at 50% brightness... watching Gmae Of Thrones and OnePiece had never been so beautiful...
I'm also amazed by the speakers, yes they are not at the level of M8 but they have great sounds to them, I use them often...
it all works fine and speedy, a realyy buttered experience
I love the contact/calendar/album and walkman app... they are all awesome in terms of capabilities and style..
it is loud when ringing and when I have a call i can hear the other person perfectly, it has great reception...
There is NO factory defect or whatsoever NFC works like a blast...
I didn't tried the photography side too much so I cannot talk about that for now... and even battery, I need to try it out a lot more!
I hope that in the future update they fix the MONO speaker issue when watching youtube and calling...
the builkd quality and the size are perfect for my hands and my black Z2 is so sexy i could have sex with it if only the 3.5 jack was a bit bigger...
I couldn't imagine to be so happy

If you have question I'm here, even if I know that I'm not the first to have this device

but really for me as of now it is a 95/100... 5 points less than perfect because I wanted the speaker to be even a bit more LOUDER... and because in my box there wass the Smartband instead of the MDR-NEC11 with noise cancellation! I'm trying the Smartband, I'll try it for a week, but I'm not so excited about it for now... I would love the noise suppresion earphone instead

TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE NOT COMPLETELY SURE ABOUT BUYING THE Z2.... GO BUY IT... YOU'LL NOT REGRET IT

Well, that's not totally correct. At least if we look at the Photo rating, then it's a win for the 808 (to be precisely by a whole point) with 81,86 points vs 80,86 for the Z2.

And if we have a closer look:

Z2 wins the following categories:
Exposure and contrast
88 vs 78 (808)
Autofocus
84 vs 73 (808)
Flash
85 vs 81 (808) that's the only thing I don't quite understand!!

808 wins the following categories:
Color
80 vs 74 (Z2)
Texture
84 vs 83 (Z2)
Noise
88 vs 84 (Z2)
Artifacts
89 vs 68 (Z2)

All categories are valued the same.

I know this is old news, but could you and other guys stop saying that "DXOMark thinks the Z2 has better image quality than the mighty 808, LOL! Who believes that?! LOL!"
Because DXOMark does not say this! DXOMark proves quite clearly (especially if you look at the categories texture, noise and artifacts) that the Nokia 808 is superior in image quality than the Z2!
What the fuk!?
