yup orange rite, but even the price will sky up at the beginning but i feel once all 3G phone out in the market it will help to push down the prices, dun forget 3G networkk will be up soon so it will be a norm to own such phone

It'll take singapore at least the last quarter of next year to start setting up all their 3G infrastructure. Even GPRS isn't fully utilized yet and not many phones in our market even support GPRS. My guess is its still safe to upgrade our phones to say, a p800 and have it live another 1 to 1 1/2 years before 3G phones actually start taking control of the market. Remember the t68 was the first colour phone and it was launched here in Oct last year. Even until now, the concept of colour phones are still not very well recieved here. Besides the t68, we've onlt got the mitsubishi trium, samsung t100 and 7650 on the market. We are rather slow at catching on when technology is concerned so I'd say 3G phone might start showing the teeth in the market around mid 2004. Until then, sleep well with your t68 by your bedside (p800 at the end of the year?).
Remember, everywhere you look around, everyone else is still carrying a 8250 or even worse... a 8310! hahahaha.....

Besides m1 offering this free trial period for mms, so far its been all hype only. Realistically speaking, it won't be commercially viable to establish a full mms network until at least 75% of the handphone market are using mms enabled phones. So how much longer do you think it'll take for that same figure to be using 3G phones? Make my estimate a little further to maybe early 2005.
I may always be wrong though!

Can I send MMS to my friends in Malaysia?? Besides that, I try to send some MMS to my friends in Sg but it said that my setting is wrong! I install the setting thru the '109'! How could it be wrong?? Do i need to register the GPRS before using it or I can use the WAP instead?

actually I was following the thing about the next firmware upgrade for the T68i to solve the soft msg tone problem. But I have another annoying problem that I dislike about my otherwise favourite T68i. Used to own a Nokia (who doesn't), and one thing i like abt their calender appt thing is that i could set a task to repeat daily, weekly or yearly....esp good for birthday and such...I could never find these USEFUL features in T68i...what is anniversary icon for when it does not repeat it annually??? Also for task that i need to perform monthly, it is also a good reminder...could someone please enlighten me on this issue...maybe it is already in the latest firmware, i dunno...mine still the original firmware....thanks in advance...
