got to admit, megabass is really pointless... music becomes distorted using it, well with my music anyway, so it doesnt bother me

The K800 does have an equalizer. You can achieve almost the same effect like MegaBass by adjusting it accordingly. And yes - MegaBass does distort sound. Buy good headphones instead - sounds much better

Also I was looking at their site and they seem to have links to "Planet 3" but can u still use the normal web browser as well?
Another thing: wots a good program for backing up all of your contacts so i can save them onto my new sim? Will myphoneexplorer do this?

Yes, it is worth it (upgrading from K750, W810 that is). W900 I don't know, as I have not used it that much, but I'm prone to say yes to that too.
The only issue with changing from these (mostly W810) is that is hasn't been out that long, which means if you change you'd probably change after owning the W810 for just one or two months... But it is still worth it.
I'm changing from the W800. Whats important for me is that the K800 has both the FlightMode and the same MusicPlayer as the W800.
