No bravia engine, no clear black technology, it's just a normal LCD with 16M colors:
This was most apparent to us outdoors when we used it side by side with Sony Ericsson's own Xperia Arc, the latter handset giving us better contrast, saturation, and of course, brightness.

I can confirm that xperia arc is now available here in dubai via axiom/fono shops for 2399AED.
For me, midnight blue is way better than silver one.
