Music is good for you. You can take it as a hobby or as a parttime profession. But NEVER take it as a full time profession. There are lots of risk involved. Unless you become the next anu malik or a.r. Rahman, your life is wasted. And reaching that heights is impossible. Ppl will tell you to go ahead. I will not. There is too much at stake. You can also consider teaching music, but as part time ONLY. I hope you get me.

sorry to say,i agree with govi. I'm not trying to discourage anybody from pursuing their ambition but most music artistes were born with a musical mind. With the explosion of todays music world, you'd have to extremely creative in finding new tunes, lyrics,etc to carve a niche of your own in the music community and to actually earn while your at it
