What do you suppose a company gains when their product is better than their competitor's and they show better growth? (I.e. Sony vs LG)

Tsepz: it might be true that the market share will soon turn to profit, but how many % of that market share gained by LG were from their owned Optimus brand and how many were from the Nexus brand?
Google might choose other Company to make new Nexus, not just LG (Motorola? HTC? or even Sony? who knows?)
People buy Nexus devices because of Google's Nexus Brand and Vanilla Android, not because of the LG Brand

is that from 'esato' (where-ever the source of the 4K slides came from) we are an SMC news aggregator, so maybe its info from the slides that snaked through the internet? which you claimed were false, the resolution is suspicious to me as well as the red outline. Either way sept 4th will be interesting.
i cannot wait for ppl to deride all the tech that sony is trying to bring from the lenscams and 4K.. pocketnow is going to shit themselves with hate. claiming that the features are useless.. hell they may not even cover it in favor of the Note 3 announcement the same day.
lets just hope that we can get some good audio playback like the G2, it would be a sad day to see sony surpassed in the audio realm by LG. Still the NYC event may see some interesting tidbits.

it will be interesting to see who steals the show.. sony or samsung. samsung has note 3 and smartwatch (maybe).. and possibly a new galaxy s5 (don't know). from what i've heard they are looking to unveil 4 devices but i don't know what those are exactly other than note 3.
sony tends to win "best in show" at these conferences when they unveil something big and i have a feeling that's not gonna change. i just hope it translates to more sales and to review sites with a biased view changing their tune.

4K would be unpractical in Honami anyway. Possible heat issues, battery drain, small ROM that would probably degrade the video quality (it would decode 4K video probably the way YouTube does it), possible fps drops... I believe the tech in Honami is just not mature enough for 4K to be practical. If you really want 4K videos that bad, just wait for the next gen Honami. I'm more than happy with
1080p@60 fps.

@Ramu: With regards to the tablet Z2.....someone mentioned in previous pages that it will definitely not be available in 2013 and only 2014.....can you confirm this maybe??
