@jwblue re GPRS roaming
i think Globe has roaming agreements with some partners for MMS, and I am assuming then that GPRS would also be available.

Was wondering kung meron kayong alam sa T68M problem with(upgraded to R2F004) CUSTOM DATA COMM accounts issue (GPRS)?
Pag ti-nurn-off ko yung phone, nawala yung custom data accounts na si-nave ko. Kailangan kong ilagay ulit the next time I turn it on.

funk... our T68m-i is just R2E006.
and i heard from someone, somewhere that the data accounts is missing everytime he/she turn off his t68m... he/she said that the unit was locked to at&t and was unlocked and being used in other sp. that might be the case here. not sure though

hmmm, mine is cingular (haven't unlocked it yet). Started happening pag tapos ng firmware upgrade..

@*had 3 units of t68m (voicestream) shipped here. all for upgrade at smartnet. had it upgraded last tuesday at smartnet. BUT only 2 was upgraded! the other one di daw ma-upgrade. they said that there's a problem with the unit daw which is R2B. actually di gano ma-explain nung girl kung ano problem basta di daw ma-upgrade. this is m ha not mc. i'm hoping this would count for international warranty. pero i'm wondering lang why there's such a problem? what do you think?

I'm thinking ipadala ko nalang sa SE USA to get it reflashed sa lumang firmware.. Mas kailangan kong gumagana yung PocketPC -> GPRS compared to MMS and etc..
Nagbayad ako ng 25$ firmware update + 22$ FEDEX shipping to get it upgraded to R2F004 (ayaw gawin ng SE US yung T68 -> T68i).. ouch..
I got it from the GOOD GUYS - it's a cingular branded phone.
