No. that is the final release version on 3.
So why do '3' have the older model then?
My 'O2' K800 is coming soon and I hope it is the new 'nicer looking' model in my opinion, without the sticker.

Does anyone know if Vodafone has branded their k800's
Picked up mine on vodafone from Phones4u on Saturday, and yes there is some branding.
On the outside it has 'Vodafone' just above the joystick where it should say 'Cybershot'. In saying that, when I was in the 02 shop theirs had '02' instead of cybershot. Only other visual thing on the case is the end/start call buttons are green and red, wich I actually prefer to the black ones! Rear of the phone is all standard.
Without having another sitting next to me for comparison, from what I can tell the voda branding isnt anything to be concerned about. My main issue would be if they had made it so you couldnt use certain types of Mp3's as ringtones ect (heard they done that last year with the k750?), but I have tried quite a few now and they all work fine.
Not realy sure why people seem so concerened with branding unless I'm missing something? It would be nice to have it all just standard but it certainly isnt overly intrusive on mine..
Just to add, the phone is really bloody good. Exactly what I was looking for in an update to the k750. So far not came across any problems that would put me off keeping it, was worried about the earpiece volume level after the issues that the 750 had but no bother with that on this one.

Have tried it out and all the various mp3s I have used so far play without a hitch as ringtones.

are these your own you've put on or the inbuilt mp3 tones? last time I had a voda phone it was the S700 and their mp3s worked fine, but it always greyed out the "apply as ringtone" text when I added my own.

various sources??? lol make your own.
Sony Acid Pro, what a great application that is! 5 mins to cut up your own mp3 - loop it or fade it, render it to a new file with smaller bitrate, blutooth it and set it as your new tone.
