No, I guess the Hayabusa is sure to use the S4. it's the mint where we can speculate. 'If' HTC is really outing a device sporting the Quad core S4, then Sony might be giving the Pro a miss and jump onto the quad bandwagon too. but as I said, 'if'.

The Qualcomm QuadCore offering still just APQ not MSM so these SoC doesn't have any 3G/LTE modem functionality forcing any company that uses these chips to have another chip just for 3G/LTE modem.. same goes for current and previews Tegra 3 ( and Tegra, Tegra 2 )...

but I think Qualcomm once said that their new Quad's are designed to be used in Tablets... I don't know what they meant by that, it could be the higher performance or higher power consumption or even the absence of 3G/LTE modem...

Absolutely, that`s the way things work - high end devices have biggest screen/price.

Second quick comments... well I dont like big phones (particularly big, all glass displays.... particularly big all glass displays that do not use gorilla glass!). If these leaked pics are anything to go by, then looks like Sony are definitely sacrificing style for substance! They are no Xperia S designs thats for sure. But I guess that is what the market wants to see from Sony right now so probably a sacrifice worth making...

The same source that said Mint will have Qualcomm S4 Quad Core mentioned Mint will have a 5 inch 1080p screen and 2GB RAM. And that 4.3 inch screen is a qHD screen. No flagship will have a qHD screen. That's just the first panel they are making, they would be producing OLED panels between 4-5 inches in size for Sony. That's what the article states.

Only 98 PPI more than XS. Nothing absurd IMO. And if not Sony, at least HTC is working on a device with a 5 inch 1080p screen.
