It really depends on how often you "use" the case. It usually can last for a year.
E.g. a screen protector on PDA, if you use the stylus to write on the screen protector, the protector will get scratched very easily; just like me, i play the bejewled game every day, at least 3 times a day, 1 hour non-stop, the screen protector can only last long for half years while it suppose to "live longer"...

Ah I see.
So essentially that OAD thing is just a layer of coating around the silicone case that fades away in time, and not exactly a material part/composite of the case itself?
