He's right though, the lack of a built in radio means it's not worth buying. Just look at the ipod, no radio at all and look how well that's done...it's done rubbish

I thought all mobile radios had to use a plug in of some sort to use as am antenna, is that not right? This message was posted from a S700

Yep. And people are missing the fact that u get the radio with the remote control. You don't get that with the ipod.

@goldenface:The cables to the earpieces are used as antenas

Exactly! It was a rhetorical question ;-) So does it really matter whether it is built in or not. This message was posted from a S700

@max. So the alternative would be for every phone to have all the same features?

Dudes, I never said I disapproved Just stating a fact. I think it's a good thing, it just means that SE buyers will need to take more care that the handset we are looking at buying has the features we want. We have been spoiled with phones that have everything, and can no longer expect that. It's an excellent and necessary strategy by SE and will also mean more choice in handsets and also a range of pricing to suit everybody. Look out Nokia

As far as the radio goes, for me it'd be a bitch, and would prevent me from buying a W900, but for anyone to whom it doesn't matter I have the utmost respect for their choice. Afterall, we are all individuals with different needs.

Also, 3G is still too expensive for data in Australia, so I'm just not interested in a 3G phone, so the K750 is more suitable. But if I needed 3G, I would probably wait for P990 instead.

The lack of lense cover is a major feature lacking in a camera, especially one that get's as much use as a phone does, so for me W900 is a backward step from the K750.

But that's just me The W900 is a great handset and light years ahead of the K600 (a K700 in 3G clothing) as far as 3G goes.

@max. You say some funny things sometimes ;-) You can hardly say that a phone, which can do everything that the K750 can do, but with more internal memory, 3G and a large screen a step backward really. It might not suit some but its hardly a step back. This message was posted from a S700
