Does the Sony Ericsson P1i supports 8Gigs? Does it goes slower with a new M2 8GB? Can I trust a bulk package seller?

8GB - yes will work with P1i. 16GB, 32GB too - whenever they are ready.
Slower - no.
M2 runs at about 4MB/sec write, 8-10MB/sec read regardless of capacity.
There are 8 chips in there.
Does your 8-disk CD changer run any slower than your 1 CD player?
Simplified - but the same. Each flash chip runs independently at the same speed whether you have 1 chip (1GB) 4 or 8 chips (8GB).

It is said that K800 supports cards up to 4GB... But it should work fine with 8GB one too. The 4gb and 8gb cards have the same filesystem so there is no reason why it shouldn't work with 8gb one...
P.S. I think someone tried using K800 with 8gb card... I think it worked well, but the only 2 "problems" were that the phone didn't show the free memory correctly (but was using it as it should be) and the media player tracks listing was going too slow...

Thanks for confirming. I'm looking at a 4gb card. 8gb will probably be too slow and lag too much for a K800.
