Yeah good for you, watch all you can! lol
Do a lot of Americans watch the World Cup? Just wondered since obviously "soccer" isn't the most popular of sports over there is it, but it seems to becoming more popular. Also sorry waht I said in the pm...
P.S. Your cat's cool!

Yeah Ghana have been great today, with the way the Czech Republic were playing Ghana could have easily have won at least 4 - 0, unfortunately Ghana haven't really mastered the offside tactic yet lol.
Great for them!

Gooo Ghana!!! Impresive! They have a young and great team. Unfortunately this victory cost them, Gyan and Muntari will not be playing in the next match against USA.

CZECH REPUBLIC 0 - 2 GHANA
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/[....]all/world_cup_2006/4853102.stm
"Ghana's historic win gives them genuine hope of qualifying for the second round. In their final group game they will play the USA, while the Czechs – disappointing today without strikers Jan Koller and Milan Baros – will hope for better in their showdown with Italy in Hamburg."

I really think that Ghana can do it and get to the next round, also I think that Trinidad & Tobago will be able to do it as well. Ghana have got the USA next which shouldn't be too hard, and Czech Republic have got Italy and with the way they played today against Ghana Czech Republic will surely loose. T & T require England to beat Sweden which I'm sure we will and a win against Paraguay. Ghana should have thrashed Czech Republic tonight, but it seems their lack of experience meant that they were unable to really finish 'just-the-keeper-to-beat' chances, also they were getting a bit carried away and seem to have forgotten the offside rules lol...

Italy 1 - 1 USA - Talk about first blood of the tounament! That was some harsh elbow from the Italian player Daniele De Rossi... Thought USA's Pablo Mastroeni being sent off though was a harsh decision, he was just late and should just have been booked, I mean I could be mistaken but I don't think there was any direct intention to take the Italian out...

Italy : USA 1:1 at half time. Each team only has 10 players on the field left. It will be an interesting second half. US has to win to stand a chance to advance to the next round.

The USA don't actually have to win to get to the next round, its best if they do but if they don't its not impossible. For eveyone in Group E has 3 points apart from the USA, if Italy beats the Czech Republic thats Italy finishing with 6 points and Czech Republic finishing with no more than 3. If Italy beat Ghana by 4 goals then that puts the USA at 2nd place and through to the next round on goal difference... But yeah its best if they win tonight lol
Ohhhh USA 2 - 1 Italy disalowed!
Its a surprisingly close game...

Or if USA manage a draw tonight, Italy beat Czech Republic next last group game and USA beat Ghana they would be through to the 2nd round.
