CRITICAL BUG IN WALKMAN in R4EA031 firmware:
The BUG IS:
when playing song - at some time silence appears but playback goes on.
Switch to next track make walkman jump to next and next.
If to press Stop and then Play -- Walkman says -- "Cannot play file" (my SE interface language is portuguese, but the meaning is the same).
Reboot phone - playback works .... for 20-30 mins and then again.
I'm using m4a files!
Help me please!!

I get my MacBookPro in 5 more weeks - hopefully - and then its CS3 time.
I decided to play around with my W810 Firmware.
RD005 with China core and with US English will screw up the music player (sorry about the vagueness I used DaVinci) - ie deleting tracks in playlists will show up when to go back to list all tracks in the playlist those tracks you deleted are STILL there.
SO I upgraded again but I'm STILL on RBD005

Now, I like the added features of unbranded, but I'm starting to miss the Cingular branded stuff, like Push mail....
ANYWAY to rebrand it back to cingular?
The only reason why I unbranded it was because I wanted to have Chinese Text on it.... and I found if I leave it as HK Firmware, I lose the ability to
1. Number of voicemail on indicator
2. Search on Contact list with more then the first letter
3. AIM is gone
I do like the Activity/Menu button in place of the Jack Splat Media Net Button....
But if there is a way to get Chinese Text on Cingular Brand, I'm all for it... if not, I'd liek if someone tell me how to rebrand it again.

After pooching the firmware in my W600i 4 times, I had Rogers send me a brand spanking new 4GB W810i (took literally one day to arrive). Hot damn. First things first, unbrand the damn phone. Busted out Phone-XS and left her running for almost 11 hours, flashed properly - not finalized. Ran SEUS, flashed and finalized however not functional. Screw it, DaVinci credits here I come. After 3 unsuccessful flashes, upgraded client - grabbed new MAIN and FS. Flashed to R4CE012 on AMERICA1. Wheee. Slapped in my 'free GPRS' SIM card (PM me if you want info of this). Downloaded all the games online. This phone is a pure beauty. Buttons are a little too small, but do give decent feedback which makes it better. It's a little light compared to my W600 but a clear-case will fix that.
I highly suggest anybody with Rogers branded FW - spend the $12 for DaVinci to unbrand.
Once CID49 is fully broken, I'll be updating to the SuperMode driver for 16x zoom, but for now - this phone is pretty much finished being modded.
Can I join too? =)

anybody know how to make pics in night mode look better without changin firmware and how to get flash on it? not flashlight, i dont see any settings for flash like on the k750. Anbody? help!

U need to be in good lightening condition. Your hands and subject should be still. You could turn on the flash by pressing the '*' key when on camera mode.

Have you heard that there is a way to add more flash lite files to the phone? You know to change the menu like orbit and equalizer change it. you can find all about it in this link
