Are Voda usually good at getting the firmware upgrades? Do you have to stick to same tariff for the full 12 months?

He also said that text allowance can be used as data access instead.

You may want to check that out. Only the 1000 SMS (£40) allowance will allow you to have data inclusive, not the other smaller packs, nor the *new* SMS bundles.

It could be a costly mistake to use data otherwise.

battery cover - found that pushing down on the cover does not help, applying a force in the horizontal plane is more effective becasue with a vertical force the pad on the inside of the cover just sticks even harder to the battery!

yep ive sorted it now.. still not impressed though.

actually my battery is now slightly scratched between the clips and the support-pad-thing, i can't work it out.

but yes, it seems ultimately a last minute decision by SE to ship it with the 33 means it doesnt fit together as it should.

i also wonder why Sony (-Ericsson) supply SANDISK duo's too? Seems strange..

Well gfot one in the end! Had to go to the Voda store @ Whiterose in Leeds though. Means a new contract and thus new number but better than dealing with the CS idiots I got!

Got the phone free on 18 month contract. £35 a month 500 an mins texts, STC and 1000 texts. I'm pretty happy with that.

Phone is on charge now.

Battery cover is fine for me. Just turn it over and use both thumbs on either side of the cover then push away from you. easy.
