I just want one thing changed... (thats REALLY necessary..)
Louder handsfree sound (while playing music)
Think its pretty bad of SE to not have fixed it and this phone even got "Musicphone of the Year" Award here in Sweden.

I've got an W850i with FW R1GB001 and am experiencing a strange problem. When I search in the phone book the handset reboots if I press a number key so many times that I go to a digit.
I.e, I open the phone book and press '4' which leads to first entry starting with 'G', then I press '4' three more times, then the phone reboots. It's the same thing with all digits.
SonyEricsson support claim they know nothing about this, so I wonder, has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have sony w850i...love the phone..it was working really well. Then i thought okay why not update it. So i updated it and became this R1gb thing... Thats when the problem started
Okay so what does this update do anyway... i dont think it has improved my phone in anyway at all...but instead totaly messed it up..okay not totaly but the video section is messed up.
I think the problem is...in the new firmwire sony has made it such that...video thumbnails play when u move the cursor over it...this is fine for the inbuilt phone videos.. but all my music videos in my card are like around say 9mbish..and now in the thumbnail mode for these...the phone just gets stuck..and stays stuck for awhile before it re starts on its own... i think the problem is its trying to do the same thumbnail for these bigger videos and somehow getting stuck. The only solution i know to this is changing the view mode to normal list view.
Okay maybe your thinking im silly..but i loved the thumbnail mode..and somehow feel that the phone was faster before...so can someone please please tell me how to switch back to the previous firmware.. or how to fix this thumbnail problem

Not sure if it has been mentioned though so apologies...
If I have New Events set to Homescreen and receive a text message if I unlock the phone without sliding it open and read the message, if I then slide the phone open the Homescreen pops up...Nothing major but marginally annoying! lol

it seems that the label problems encountered in the previous firmware has been fixed..and some of the bugs when using hbh-ds970 has been fixed also

hiii i want to ask about upgrade firmware w850i via SEUS.. why every i Upgrade has different condition.. first when SEUS check my phone firmware and said that the new firmware available.. after that i continued and SEUS downloaded the software.. until 27% it already finished.. and upgrade my phone until finished.. firstly i was shocked with that condition because just 27% it already finished, i thought that my connection was down.. but after upgraded process, my phone still on.. oo yess.. in the second condition i downloaded the software until 29% and it already finished.. now i confused with this condition.. why SEUS downloaded the software until 27-29 % and it stopped by itself ?? and it already finished ?? all i want to ask, all of you have the same condition with me ?? or can download it until 100% ??

on my update..it was like around 50% then it finishes instantly
