the K750i is a great phone and my favourite out of the SE phones I have had.

The K750's my first SE phone, but it won't be the last. Just a quick question, after a full charge, when I check my battery level immediately, it usually says 96 or 97 percent. Is that normal?

Yes, it's normal. You just have to wait for a few minutes after you turn on the phone for it to go to 100%. But while you wait you can't go into the status menu or else the percentage won't rise.

Oh, okay, thanks! So what you're saying is, after I turn on my phone, I'll have to wait for a few minutes before checking the status? And if I've checked my battery status immediately after turning on my phone, this wouldn't work even if i waited a few minutes before checking again? This also means I'll have to charge with my phone turned off right?

@deluded: you do not need to charge your phone turned off; actually, i do not recommend it since charging is not optimized by the handset if you do so. i believe the battery meter on the k750i 'estimates' the remaining battery life so sometimes the battery meter may be orange and then green again after a while. this though is not a k750i flaw, rather, it's just SE's way of making sure you do not end up with a drained battery every time (seeing as how you love it and can't take your hands off it

)
by the way, i

my k750i, too. i've had it for more than 6 months already and i still can't have enough of it. i've thought of replacing it but realized i simply can't...

Thanks mate, I'll charge my battery with the phone on in future. Glad to hear you're happy with your K750 too, it's a really amazing piece of equipment. And yes, thank goodness for the K750's remarkable battery life, I can hardly take my hands off it. But still it manages to give me a decent few days of usage without charging. It hasn't gone flat on me till now.

@deluded
Is it true that you cant use the charger and the handsfree in 750i at the same time?

@enroy, yup, cos they use the same connector. I believe some guys here have actually modded their charger connector to connect both. If you do a search you might be able to find the thread, I'm not very sure about the thread.

ugh, why on earth would SE do that! I think they have rectified the later models by providing a back-to-back handsfree port on the charger?
